Our mission at BioTras is to revolutionize didactic cadaver training by enhancing physician expertise and reduce training cost. BioTras was founded in 2015 and is based in Dallas, Texas. We focus on the development of bio-anatomical training systems. Our patented simulator creates a unique medical training device unlike anything currently on the market.

Our goal is to take the patient out of the training equation.

BRANDON KNUTSON, CO-FOUNDER

Brandon is the co-owner of multiple ventures in the medical industry including medical mangagement and bio-med technology. Along with his business partner Dr. John East, Brandon has utilized his extensive knowledge of spinal anatomy to conceptualize, develop, and produce AsTris from its inception.

CEO, CO-FOUNDER

John East, D.O is an Interventional Pain Mangement physician, business strategist, and owner of multiple companies within the healthcare sector, including a highly successful interventional pain and regenerative medicine practice. His experience at a cadaver training course in 2011 was the inspiration for the creation of AsTris.
