Krissy earned a BA from Eastern Kentucky University cum laude and earned a Master's in Interdisciplinary Studies at Liberty University with distinction. She is an Interventional Pain Management educator at heart. Her professional history as a nurse, working for The American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP), underlying state societies, as a political public speaker and work with multiple non-profits makes her skill set unique. Krissy brings her experience in bio-skills lab work, professional relationships, marketing knowledge, and passion for physician education and advancement to the BioTras team.

CHAD STEPHENS, DO
Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Stephens is a private practice Interventional Pain and Sports Medicine Physician who believes strongly in training other Physicians and spends his time nationally and internationally advancing others skill sets to better provide for the needs of their patients. He has unique training with Fellowships in Interventional Pain and Sports Medicine. He has been in practice over 16 years and worked in large Orthopedic groups and led groups of Pain Physicians. These experiences have made him prepared to talk with both Pain and Orthopedic specialists. In fact, one company had him lead the launch of their product in Australia. In 2019, he traveled there on three occasions teaching Orthopedic and Pain/Sports Medicine Physicians. Because of his ability to interrelate to multiple specialties, the international sales team has continued to request no other proctors be sent to expand the growth besides Dr. Stephens. He has helped several of the companies he consults for by helping Physicians become super utilizers of various products. Dr. Stephens has a history of leadership through all aspects of his education and athletics. He served as the President of the D.O class of 2000 for four years at Des Moines University. He is a big believer in setting and obtaining goals while trying to help as many people as possible. Lastly, Dr. Stephens understands the importance of educating communities and corporations through social media and marketing. He has used these media to grow his practice and preaches the importance of utilizing all platforms available for Physicians to promote their practices and improve the care they deliver to their patients. He recently moderated the ASPN social media meeting

Youssef Josephson, DO

Dr. Josephson received his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, School of Osteopathic Medicine and then completed a medical internship at Crozer Keystone Health Systems, Delaware County Memorial Hospital.

Anthony Giuffrida, MD

Dr. Giuffrida is a board-certified Physiatrist, fellowship-trained in Interventional Spine and Sports Medicine. Dr. Giuffrida is the director of Interventional Pain Management at the Cantor Spine Center at the Paley Orthopedic & Spine Institute. He is integrally involved in research and development of new transformative pain relieving techniques, actively teaches and lectures internationally. Having extensive experience in treating high level collegiate and professional athletes Dr. Giuffrida understands the impact of relieving pain and restoring activity, life-style, and overall well-being. His practice is devoted to using new cutting edge techniques to give his patients every possible chance to relieve their pain and get their life back while avoiding surgery.

Neel Mehta, MD

Dr. Mehta is both board-certified in Anesthesia, and fellowship trained, board- certified in Interventional Pain Medicine. He holds several positions including; Medical Director of Pain Medicine at the Weill-Cornell Pain Medicine Center, and New York Presbyterian Hospital, overseeing outpatient and inpatient services together with a large team of dedicated Pain and Regional Anesthesia Physicians. Co-Director, Weill Cornell Multi-Disciplinary Spine Center, Associate Program Director of the Tri-Institutional Interventional Pain Medicine Fellowship, Dean's Healthcare Leadership Fellow, Quality Assurance Officer for Pain Medicine, Weill Cornell Physician Organization Operations and Planning Committee Member, Weill Cornell Medical School, Course Director in Pain Medicine.

He focuses on, but is not limited to, musculoskeletal pain of the back, neck, and joints, neuropathic disorders, and cancer pain. His clinical interests lie in the minimally invasive procedures to treat musculoskeletal pain, including various types of injections, intrathecal pump therapy, Spinal Cord Stimulation, and the MILD© Procedure (Minimally Invasive Lumbar Decompression) for Spinal Stenosis. He is an active participant in research regarding Spinal Cord Stimulation, and has published numerous textbook chapters on Cancer Pain, Back Pain, and Spinal Cord Stimulation.

Ehren Nelson, MD

Ehren Nelson, MD is an anesthesiologist and pain medicine physician at the Brigham and Women's Hospital/Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts. He has lectured nationally and internationally on a variety of topics related to anesthesia and pain management. He studied medicine at Stanford University prior to completing his Anesthesia Residency and Interventional Pain Management Fellowship at the Brigham and Women's Hospital. He is currently Director of Education for the Brigham and Women’s Pain Fellowship and Co-Director of the Harvard Interventional Pain Simulation Center. His academic interests include simulation-based education and mindfulness interventions in the chronic pain patient.
